SUP Surfing Lessons
Wrightsville SUP offers stand up paddle surfing lessons & excursions in Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Figure Eight Island, Topsail Island, and Surf City beaches. We will happily travel to your destination should this be more convenient for you. Our certified instructors will locate the perfect mellow beach break wave depending on the wind and tide, which offers a SUP surf session virtually any day of the year.
SUP Surfing Lessons & Excursions – Advanced
Our surf excursions will take you to an ideal beach break location specific for stand up paddle boarding without crowds or unnecessary distraction. You will gain first hand knowledge from our experienced stand up paddleboard instructors about the SUP & paddle dynamics as they work in unison. We will safely guide you through all the effective paddling and timing techniques while having fun and catching great waves on your SUP. Not recommended for beginners & novice.
To ensure that you get the most out of your SUP experience, each lesson & excursion is a minimum of 2 hours covering basic SUP ground school and in-water paddle & maneuverability instruction. SUP surfing lessons can easily be scheduled with additional hours.

Private – 1:1 Student to Instructor ratio
Semi-Private – 2:1 Student to Instructor ratio
Semi-Private Group – 3:1 & 4:1 Student to Instructor ratio
Group – 5:1+ Student to Instructor ratio
Each Lesson, Tour and Surf Excursion includes per person:
C4 Waterman SUP, Custom Fitted Lightweight C4 Waterman Fiberglass Paddle, Wrightsville SUP 50 UVA Sun Protection Shirt, Personal Flotation Device (PFD), Leash, Granola Bar & Water Refreshments.
